2.9.6.1 Cicely Sampson

Cicely Sampson was the first known child born to Olivia Barnett and Hanry Atkins Sampson. She was born in London, MDX in 1865.

At the time of the 1881 census, Cicely was a border at the Redland Rd Summerbrook Ladies School, Reading St Giles, BRK. She was 15 and a scholar.

Cicely was mentioned in the Will of her cousin Eva May Barnett in 1915. She was of Castle Morris, Knocklopher, Kilkenny which could explain the lack of entries in the 1891 and 1901 census for her. She was also the administrator of her sister Elizabeth Gertrude's estate in 1934 and she was listed as a spinster.
