2.4.4.1.2 John Chester Pollock

John Chester Pollock was the second child of Mary Barnett and James "Jim" Pollock. He was born on October 9, 1876. He married twice. His first wife was Maude Patton and his second wife was Luella Patton a cousin of Maude.
John and Maude lived in a house they built on the corner of Heller and Bailey Roads, just down the road from John's father farm.
John farmed for his father, Jim, until shortly after the death of his first wife, Maude. He stayed in the vicinity and continued to work the farm until about 1913.
John died on February 10, 1935 aged 56 years. He is buried in the Calvary Cemetery, Toledo, Ohio.
Maude Patton, the first wife of John Chester Pollock, was born on February 4, 1878, and died on April 5, 1908 from complications of childbirth. She was only 30 years old. Unfortunately, the only child of John and Maude died on the day s/he was born: April 5, 1908.
Maude was buried in the Mt Pleasant Cemetery, Lucas County, Ohio, as was her unnamed child.
Luella Patton was the second wife of John Chester Pollock and was an older cousin of John's first wife, Maude. She was born on August 25, 1876. She lived to the age of 85, dying on May 29, 1962. She was buried in the Calvary Cemetery, Toledo, Ohio.
