Joyce Ethelwyn Vevers was the second child of Edward Gwynne Vevers and Ethel Mary Jenkins. She was born about on April 3, 1908 at 98 Coalharbour Road, Redlands, Bristol.

Joyce died in 1922, aged 14, as a result of a fall off a cliff.
