Frank Curzon Smith was the last of the eleven children born to Mary "Polly" Hobbs and Stephen Smith. He was born on November 30, 1885 at Turville Grange, Bucks.
In 1901 he was listed on the census at Bourne End, Wooburn, Bucks with his mother and a number of other family members. He was 15 years old and no occupation was given.
Frank married Hilda Elizabeth "Betty" Bell in Vancouver, BC, Canada. They had 3 children:
