2.4.3.4.10 Bessie Winifred Smith

Bessie Winifred Smith was the tenth of the eleven children born to Mary "Polly" Hobbs and Stephen Smith. She was known as Winifred. She was born at Hambleden, Bucks, on June 6, 1883. She was baptised at St Mary the Virgin, Hambleden, on September 2, 1883.
At the time of the 1901 census Winifred was living at with her mother at Bourne End, Wooburn, Bucks. She was 17 and no occupation was given.
Winifred married H. Wyburn George in 1913 in West Vancouver, BC, Canada. They had two children:

| 2.4.3.4.10.2 | Richard Wynurn George born on September 17, 1913. He married Ann Day in 1934 in England. He died in 1946 in England. |
Winifred died in July 1981 in West Vancouver, BC, Canada, aged 98.
