Charles Raymond Turpin was known as Raymond. He was the second child born to Elsie Gladys Marguerite Hobbs and Charles Marcus Turpin. He was born on November 23, 1912 in Utah.

Raymond appears in the 1920 as a 7 year old sporting the name Raymond C and as a 17 year old with no occupation living with his mother and siblings in California in 1930.

Raymond died on April 20, 2001. His place of residence, according to the Social Security Death Index was Las Vegas, Nevada.
