Thora E Turpin was the first child born to Elsie Gladys Marguerite Hobbs and Charles Marcus Turpin. She was born on March 18, 1910 at West Jordan, Salt Lake County, Utah.

Thora appears on the 1910 census, aged 2 months, the 1920 as a 9 year old (as that census was taken in January) and as a 20 year old with no occupation living with her mother and siblings in California in 1930.

Thora died on June 15, 1996. Her place of residence, according to the Social Security Death Index was Las Vegas, Nevada.
