2.4.3.1 Henry Hobbs

Henry Hobbs was the first child of Mary Barnett and Joseph Hobbs. He was born in 1834 and baptised on October 11 of that year at Cookham, Berks.
The 1851 census shows Henry living at Moor Hall, Cookham, wit his parents. His occupation is given as farmer's son. He was 16 years old.
According tot he probate documents lodged in relation to his father's estate, Henry was a brewer of Abney House, Wooburn, Bucks in 1859.
Henry is mentioned in a letter of April 1881 written to his brother Joseph. Part of his mother's estate had already passed to his children and his uncle was the trustee for the children. This implies that Henry was deceased, had married and had produced children.
