Ada Barnett, the seventh and last known child of Thomas Barnett and Frances Arnold, was born about 1865 in St Neots, Bedfordshire.

At the time of the 1881 census she was living with her mother and sister Fanny at 3 Hargrave Road, London and she was aged 16. Her occupation was given as dressmaker.

In 1891 she was still living with her mother and sister Fanny. Their abode was 48 St John's Villa, Upper Holloway, Islington. Ada was aged 25. Her occupation was given as dressmaker.

Ada was still single in 1901 and living with her mother and sister Fanny. Their abode was 98 Wightman Road, Hornsey, Middlesex. Her age was given as 36 and her occupation was dressmaker.
